They also create habitats for frogs, birds, insects, and other wildlife that rely on shelter and water to survive.

2. New Gutters and Downspouts

Often, homeowners have too many downspouts on one side of the house, which leads to a soggy lawn in that area. If your current downspouts empty into areas that run uphill or in low-lying areas that already collect enough water, then it's time to redirect your gutter system. This often looks like a dry creek bed or attaching a rigid drain pipe to the end of your gutter to carry water away from the problem area.
